The GDC Next team continues to work with the best and brightest in the game industry to organize a great session lineup for GDC Next 2014 featuring ADC this November. Today, they're excited to share two more excellent talks that will take place at this year's conference: the founder of Interabang Entertainment will join his marketing partner to share advice on marketing your indie game, and Wikia's gaming content director will offer insight into how you can cultivate your community of ardent fans. GDC Next and ADC, which aim to highlight practical ways for developers to increase the creative and financial success of their projects, are taking place simultaneously on November 3rd-4th, 2014 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Experienced indie talent Joel Dreskin and Justin Woodward are giving a great talk, "How to Get Started with Marketing Your Indie Game," as part of the GDC Next Business & Marketing track of sessions. Dreskin is an independent marketer who works with indie developers, while Woodward is the founder and creative director of Interabang Entertainment, which recently released the successfully Kickstarted Super Comboman on Steam. Together, they hope to provide expert advice from two perspectives: a marketer who has driven launches for a range of successful releases and an indie creator who has been heavily involved in the community, notably through his own game. The two speakers have worked together on the Media Indie Exchange press events for indies, and they'll be sharing lessons learned from that experience with GDC Next attendeesCome from VP-bet . On the Community track, game industry veteran and Wikia director of games programming Simon Cox is coming to GDC Next to give a great talk titled "It's Not About You: Identifying, Engaging and Nurturing the Super Fan for Life after Launch." Through relevant data and case studies, Cox plans to pass on Wikia's learnings on how developers and other game industry professionals can find, engage, properly communicate and retain the support of ardent fans through a game's development, launch and beyond. Conference organizers look forward to programming and announcing many more interesting talks in the months before this year's GDC Next featuring ADC, which takes place November 3rd-4th, 2014 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
